TRAINING OVERVIEW

The training process at Cambridge Homes is designed to increase the knowledge and skills of the franchise operator and employees in order to enhance the performance of their business. Not all the infomation will be relevent to your role within the Cambridge Homes team, but it will give you an idea of how other roles within the company operate.  Cambridge Homes training is, therefore, a process whereby a franchise acquires job-related skills and knowledge.

The following is a training outline adopted by Cambridge Homes. 

Training topics have been put into different modules. Each module has associated documents and templates for reference - these can also be downloaded from the resources and document section of the Cambridge Homes Hub as well. It is suggested that you fully understand each aspect of this manual, if you have any questions feel free to ask Head Office as they will be able to answer your questions.

INDUCTION TRAINING

Each new Franchisee and employee must commit to an Induction Training Week; during this week we will give an overview of all aspects of running a Cambridge Homes Franchise, Subjects covered in this induction week will include;

  • Administration

  • IT Infrastructure - Kordia

  • Customer Service

  • Marketing

  • Sales & Design

  • Building /Project Management

  • Key supplier introductions

  • Health & Safety

  • Cambridge Homes Systems - Rave/Databuild​

TRAINING WORKSHOPS

As well as online resources Head office will run regular training sessions. The timing of these will be determined by the franchisor although it is intended to be run quarterly.

 

Topic will be determined and agendas will be circulated among the network. It will be compulsory to attend. Cost for accommodation and travel will be met by the individuals.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE

These will be held each year. This is a great time for us to get together with our key supplies. The objective of these Conferences are to continue training, launch new initiatives and to spent time with our pairs on a more informal basis.

 

Our Management Team is committed to on-the-spot training when and where required.​
